El Mirinda
About This Spot
Stepping into El Mirinda feels like entering a vibrant, unassuming corner of Moses Lake where the hum of neighborhood chatter blends effortlessly with the inviting scent of sizzling spices and fresh tortillas. It’s the kind of spot where time slows just enough for you to settle in at picnic tables, savoring the easy pace and warmth that come from genuine, down-to-earth hospitality.
The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable — a local gathering place where familiar faces and newcomers alike share in the joy of real, lovingly crafted flavors. Plates arrive full, not just with food but with stories hinted at by bold, authentic touches — from a playful twist like the Flamin’ Hot Cheeto Taco to classics that echo family recipes and cultural pride. Each bite offers a moment to appreciate the textures and spices that make this more than just a meal, but a small celebration of community and craft.
Beyond the food, El Mirinda’s charm reveals itself in those human moments: the friendly nods between diners, the casual rhythm of ordering, and the subtle care in how each dish is presented and served. It’s a place where the salsas are fresh and nuanced, where a burrito can be hearty enough to share, and where the tradition of Mexican street fare is respected and made inviting for all walks of life.
For those who find themselves drawn here — whether on a leisurely weekend or a spontaneous weekday stop — El Mirinda offers a comforting reminder of why local eateries hold a special place in the heart of a town. It’s not just about the food, but the unspoken connections it fosters, the small celebrations of flavor and friendship that quietly make this corner of Moses Lake a bit brighter.

Don't believe bad reviews from people who do not post pictures. I'll leave it at that. These folks do a fine job with their menu. Flavors were as expected, and their salsas were excellent. One neat thing they do that separates them from other little Mex huts around here, is they actually serve you with real plates when you dine at one of their picnic tables, but you will need to buss them yourselves (no big deal). I thought they were pretty generous with the meats for everything that we ordered, too. We liked it all...

Love this place. Been in Moses Lake for 1 year, and this place has the best steak tacos, IMO. They tend to run out of steak close to closing time (the marinated pork is also fantastic), but on several occasions, they have made me some fresh. Delicious food and great service!

One of the BEST spots in town!!! Their burritos are HUGE, their tortas are so juicy. They have $1 tacos in Saturdays! Great customer service every time.
